Got Milk?

....(in the form of ice cream!!) :)

A Lot To Be Thankful For....

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of good food, great company and gobbles of fun!!

We headed to Vancouver for an early dinner with Grandma, Papa, Uncle Tony, Auntie Jody and the boys. After a great meal, the men slept....

The kids had a blast jumping and playing on Grandma's bed....

A few things I am most grateful for....

Later we celebrated another dinner (this one vegetarian!) with our good friends Stacie and Garrett. It really was the perfect ending to a perfect Thanksgiving day!

Thanks to all of our friends and family for your love and support. We love you!

Baby Matthew

My cousin Keith and his wife Jyothsna came for a visit from Atlanta with their most adorable little boy Matthew. This was the first meeting for most of our family. He is such a cutie! They make a beautiful family...

Matthew is my Aunt Marcia's first grandbaby. Oh what a proud Grandma she is!

An Apple A Day...

I grabbed it right from the fruit bowl this way. She must have "tested" it while Don and I were busy unloading the groceries (a week ago!).

Smile.

A Day Away... (from the office)

Don took today off so that he could take Aayla to one of her tumbling tots class. After class we met up with the boys, Grandma, and Aunt Jody at Kids Club. It was a very fun day! Here's Don helping Aayla jump on the "max train" mats at tumble class.

One of Aayla's favorites: Row, Row, Row Your Boat...

One of many trips down the slides at Kid's Club.

Fall Fun

Aayla had fun playing with all of the fallen leaves that are overtaking our yard and driveway. Don raked up a giant pile for her and she would take handfuls at a time to make her own little pile.

Hiding Out

Aayla got a little Dora playhouse and it gets more use from Romey the cat!
He loves it!

Cat Got Your... Arm??!!

I suffered a chomp by a very dysphoric kitty at work late last night. I had to spend several hours at Kaiser urgent care for treatment (x-rays, flushing, bandaging). Poor little Aayla and I didn't return home until 12:30 am. We just barely beat Don home from the airport. (He has been in Atlanta all week). Well, this morning I woke up very, very sick from the prescribed antibiotics (doxycycline). I threw up for about 7 hours straight. After another trip to Kaiser for injectable medication and different antibiotics, I am starting to feel better. My darling little Aayla was a complete angel through all of this too. She was such a good girl for Don while they waited for me for several hours at the hospital today. Don said everybody was telling him what a great kid she was!! :) It's times like these that I feel so incredibly lucky to have the support of my family. I heart you Don and Aayla!

Art Time!

Aayla had fun making her very first collages. It took her a bit to realize the idea was to stick things to the double sided tape, but once she figured it out, she did great! She is always so concentrated when we do art things!

Here's the proud artist and her work...
