Every year the veterinary hospital I work for hosts a staff retreat. This year we all rode a big yellow bus down to Newberg to visit Camp Tilikum. We participated in many team and relationship building activities, including a ropes challenge course. Our challenge involved climbing up a very,
very tall tree to a small platform and jumping off and out to a trapeze. We were harnessed to a rope that our teammates held. Well, I made it to the platform and managed to scoot myself off the edge (there was
NO jumping)! I was lucky I didn't have a heart attack!! It was so scary but I was glad I did it!
Just starting off...

Halfway there...

Almost to the top...

I made it to the platform!

Being lowered to the ground by my awesome work friends...

I am so grateful to work with such amazing people! We all had so much fun we are already planning our return for more challenges, this time with our significant others. Stay tuned...
