We planted our very first tomato plant! I asked Aayla what we should name our tomato plant and she said "Tomato Plant"! It was a fun time and I am looking forward to growing many more things next year when we create a real garden!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame, Take Two
Don and Aayla adventured to the Portland Beaver's baseball game last night. As soon as she realized the players weren't going to throw her the ball, she was ready to go home!

A Great Mom's Day!
The three of us had a great homemade breakfast and then headed to Max for a short ride to the Oregon Zoo. The weather was perfect... sunny with a little cloud cover to keep you cool. We had a blast checking out all the zoo animals! After a picnic lunch in the grass, we headed home for a much needed afternoon nap! Aayla wasn't having anything to do with the camera today, so this was our best attempts at a family self portrait. :)
