UGH!

I am once again without laptop.  A piece of the charger broke off inside my computer... yes, inside the computer.  I'm going to have to take it in to be serviced so I most likely won't be posting for a while.  We have a lot to look forward to including another Great Wolf adventure with Grandma, Papa, and the Belezos family, The Wailer's concert at the Oregon Zoo, a visit from Grandpa Jensen, Aayla's 3rd birthday party, hopefully some camping and another trip to the ocean for a friend's wedding.

What A Great Wolf Adventure!

We celebrated our "stay-cation" this summer with a quick trip north to the Great Wolf Lodge and water park. We went with our awesome friends Stacie and Garrett. Aayla absolutely LOVED the wave pool... and she wouldn't settle for anything less than the deepest, most wavy part of the pool! Once she figured out the life jacket kept her afloat, there was no stopping her and there was certainly no holding onto her (at least to her knowledge). We will never forget the HUGE grin and excited eyes on Aayla's face that first time in the waves. We all had a blast and are already excited for the next trip. Unfortunately, we were having too much fun to get any pictures! Next time for sure!

We're Back!!

Sorry for such a delay between posts. Here's what we've been up to...

Aayla had a blast in her swim class on boat safety day. She got to test out life jackets and ride around the pool in a raft. Fun!!

We have been going to the park a lot lately. Aayla is now hanging by herself from the bars. Little Miss Independent.

We had a great Father's Day trip to the park this year. We are lucky enough to live just a short drive from this beautiful park.



Don and Aayla actually got the little plastic Dora kite up and flying.



Aayla got her second hair cut. She did great again!



We enjoyed birthday celebrations with good friends.

We celebrated the Fourth this year with Garrett, Stacie and Sauce. It was a relaxing, wonderful day.





Aayla has mastered her 24 piece Dora puzzle. She puts the entire thing together all by herself ! I think the most fun part for her is destroying the puzzle after it's all together.



Just the other night Aayla comes walking into the kitchen wearing one of Don's hats, announcing that she has her cowboy hat on and is ready to go to the party. Seriously, the imagination of a 3 year old is amazing!



So far it's been a great start to the summer! We are off to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Washington next week for a little water slide adventure! It should be super fun!
