Family Time

Whew!! It has been a very busy, but awesome week! Our family from Calgary came to Portland for a family reunion this last week. Thanks Uncle Bob, Aunt Dory, Tammy, Sonja, and Savvy for making the trip all the way down here! The kids had a blast playing together and the adults had a great time visiting (and eating!) all week. I feel very lucky to be a part of my family and was sad to see them all leave. I am already looking forward to our next gathering, which will definitely be sooner than 15 years!

A failed attempt to get all of our kids in the same picture, at least looking in the direction of the camera.

One of many meals together.

It was an amazing week and can't wait for the next time we are all together again.

Bye Bye Summer...

Sigh. It has been a great summer. But, all good things must come to an end. Sniffle...

Bye bye splashing in the pool...

and warming up afterward.

Bye bye swinging around in the evening sun until Aayla giggles uncontrollably.

Bye bye "camping" in the back yard.

Bye bye summer swim class.

Well, we have a lot to look forward to this fall. Aayla begins her very first dance class at the end of September. She has already started her new fall swim class. So far, she is the only child registered for the class which is SUPER great... it's like private lessons at a much cheaper rate!! We also have a trip to Spokane planned for later this fall. Hope everyone has a great 'end of summer' as well!!

Fun At Oaks Park Amusement Park

What a great day! The weather was perfect, the rides were fun and the cotton candy was delicioso! We shared a lovely summer afternoon at Oak's Park with Grandma, Aunt Jody, the boys, Paige and Madi (the boy's cousins).

Here's all the kids on the jumping frog ride. Notice the two littlest have the biggest grins!
