Things Come in Three's...

so, hopefully, we are done having rear-end accidents! Yes, Aayla and I were in our 3rd rear-end accident together yesterday. The first two happened when I was pregnant with her. All three have happened in my Honda Civic, in the morning on the way to work. And, the other drivers have all been young men. Hmmmm....

Luckily, we are both okay considering the other vehicle was Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. The truck was so tall that it almost missed by bumper all together. It sure did a number on my trunk though!

Fun! Fun! Fun!

We have been pretty busy this week. We visited Portland's Children Museum on Monday and Tuesday we met at OMSI after swim class. It has been a fun spring break!!

Brushing the crocodile's teeth was a big hit...

Water and getting wet are always one of Aayla's favorite...

Blazermania!

We joined our good friends Stacie and Garrett for a fun (and winning!) night of Portland Trailblazer basketball. It was an awesome win and a much needed night out! This was the first time we had a "hired" sitter for Aayla that wasn't her aunt or grandma. We are definitely looking forward to more date nights now that we have a great sitter!! Thanks Paige!!

Catching Up...

Sorry the posts have been few and far between. Here's what we've been up to these past few months.

Aayla and her cousin Owen have been spending more time together lately, while her older cousins enjoy some time with their dad motorcycle riding.

Play-doh!

Don enjoyed a day long fishing trip with his good friends from high school. Although fun, it was not a very productive fishing trip!

We have already had one round of Easter egg decorating. I'm sure there is more to come considering Easter is still a couple of weeks away.

Aayla takes the dying part very serious!

Oh yeah... Aayla started preschool in February! She attends one day a week right now and loves it! She will probably go to two days a week later this summer. I am also enjoying a little time to myself! Here are a couple photos of Aayla playing at home.
