Croup

As defined by Wikipedia, croup is "a group of respiratory diseases characterized by a barking cough, stridor, and hoarseness due to obstruction (ie. swelling) in the region of the larynx".

As defined by the Jensen household, croup is "a nasty little bug that causes a voiceless, very cranky, coughing, wheezing, inappetent, painful, feverish and beyond unhappy little girl". Also known as "a virus leading to one very sleep deprived, anxious, underfed, sad, and exhausted mommy".

Finally, it appears spring has arrived and summer is on it's way! YAY!! We took full advantage of the warmer weather with a trip to the park for a picnic and some play with our good friends Ang and baby Phoenix.

Spring Hiking

Aayla and I decided to be adventurous this past weekend by exploring some hiking trails at Washington Park. Although it was a little chilly, it stayed dry and we had a great time!

Rainy Day Picnic In Our "Cave"

Aayla calls our front door entrance the "cave". I came home the other day to find her and Don having a picnic in the cave. Did I mention it was cold and raining??
