Halloween

Geesh... a little late, but better late than never! Originally, Aayla planned on being a pink ghost for Halloween. I spent way too much time making a pink ghost costume and realized (on Halloween morning) that it was very impractical to have a 5 year old walking around with a sheet over her head. Luckily, Fred Meyer came through with one last little girl costume...

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Don's Birthday Celebration

As most of you know, Don celebrated his 40th birthday earlier this month. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with a view at Portland City Grill. It was Aayla's first time to a "fancy" restaurant and we were even able to show her where we were married over 7 years ago. It was a wonderful night for a wonderful guy. We LOVE LOVE LOVE you Daddy!!

As Short As Daddy's!!

Aayla got her hair cut a couple of weeks ago. When I asked her if she wanted to keep it long or cut it short, she said "Cut it short!! As short as Daddy's!" Well, we compromised. It's as short as it's ever been, but not quite "short as Daddy's!".

By the way, she wasn't really into taking pictures. Can you tell?

Silly Sally OB

Our newest family member, OB, is doing very well. He is a funny little guy. He LOVES burrowing in bags, blankets, curtains, you name it! He also LOVES sprawling out and sleeping upside down. He makes my heart smile!

He is fascinated with plastic bags (and crawling into them!).

This is seriously how he sleeps.

What stove?

OB says "Shhh, the crazy bit** is coming! Don't tell her I'm in here!"

Another favorite past time of his is chewing through plastic to eat whatever food lays beneath. We cannot leave anything unattended with OB around... unless you don't mind sharing with him!

Looking for anything edible!

So playful!

Goodbye Summer...

It has been quite busy in the Jensen household lately. I have returned to work full time and Aayla has started her new Montessori school. We were able to enjoy many fun things before starting our new schedule, though. Fun summer things like golfing, sunny outdoor weddings , birthday parties and sleepovers with besties. So far, it has been a very smooth transition back to school and work for all of us. Aayla absolutely LOVES her new school. And, I am really enjoying more time at work. Weird, I know, but I love what I do and I work with amazing people!!

Of course, Aayla's favorite part of golfing is driving the cart!

All dressed up for Brian and Joy's wedding.

Setting up!

Chillaxing...

The guys and Aayla headed out for a little fishing adventure.

Fun times! Games and art projects!

We had our own private trail that led from our campsite to the creek.

At the end of the private trail we found a small private beach!
AMAZING!!
