A Little Tumble....

Well, we had our first (and hopefully last) experience with taking x-rays on a toddler. Poor little Aayla has had a bit of a limp after falling off the couch on Monday. After almost 48 hours with no visible improvement, we decided to take her to the doctor. Other than the limp, she had been acting completely normal... eating great, running around and playing, and not showing any indications that she was painful. Well, the doctor thought it would be a good idea to take some x-rays. The x-ray tech strapped Aayla's arms down and I had to hold her legs still while we x-rayed both legs. She of course was NOT happy about this but I must say that she handled it all pretty well. We all did. The x-rays didn't show anything abnormal and by later that night the limp was much improved. One more new experience in our journey of parenthood.

Poor Aayla. :( I hope she is feeling better now.. It is always scary when they tumble. The worries never end..Do they?? :)
I know what you mean about the x-ray, Savvy had those done a couple times for her hips when she was born and at 3months old.. I hated how they strapped her down on the table, Then they ask us(moms) to "hold their legs down".As if it isn't painful enough to watch, Let alone participate in their scary moment.. I feel for you.. :)
Well I hope all's well now..xoxo
