For those of you who don't know Millie, or how she came about, let me give you a little history. She was a foundling brought to my work (veterinary hospital) by a good Samaritan almost one year ago. She weighed in at a whopping 4 ounces and we estimated her age at 7-10 days. I decided to "foster" her and we have had her ever since. Not growing up with other feline brothers and sisters to help socialize and teach her manners, she has become a bit of a sassy pants with (when it comes to me) no bite inhibition. Amazingly, this cat LOVES LOVES LOVES Aayla and Don. Millie allows Aayla to pick her up and carry her all over the house, over and over again. She tolerates kiss after kiss and hug after hug. She tucks Aayla in every night and stands guard outside her door until Aayla is sleeping. She greets Don after work with snuggles and purrs heard from across the room. When it comes to me, however, she is a strictly "look but don't touch" kind of cat. When temptation gives way, and I reach for her soft fur, she reminds me with a little CHOMP that my snuggles are not welcome! Even though I would love to be included in her fan club, I still love Millie for being her funny little self. STINKER!!
